What's the news?

Ahead of Liverpool's Premier League game against Manchester United, left back Andy Robertson has warned his teammates, asserting that they will have to be at their best in order to get a favorable result at the Old Trafford.

In case you didn't know...

Two of the most successful teams in England - Liverpool and Manchester United - are scheduled to play each other in the Premier League on February 24.

The Reds are currently competing with Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur for the Premier League title. They boost the best defensive record in the division and have lost just one game all season.

Although they have a game in hand, Jurgen Klopp's are second in the league table due to an inferior goal difference in comparison with Manchester City's aggregate.

On the other hand, Manchester United are aiming for the 'top-four' finish and are going toe-to-toe against Chelsea and Arsenal for the same. They are currently unbeaten in the league under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, having won 11 out of their 13 games since his appointment.

The heart of the matter

Speaking with LFC TV (via Sky Sports), Andy Robertson has insisted that Manchester United are a very different unit at the moment and warned his teammates that it will be a tough game to secure all three points.

"It's another huge game. The boys need to recover and we get going. I think it'll be a bit of a different game than we faced the last time; under this new manager they've picked up and they're a very different team, especially at home."

He further added:

"It'll be a tough task. We need to bring our A-game and, if we can do that, then hopefully we've got enough to win."

What's next?

Regardless of their form, Liverpool vs. Manchester United always remains to be a crunch, much-awaited encounter and we can expect the same when the giants face-off against each other on Sunday, 24 February.
