What's the news?

England international, Nathaniel Clyne, has revealed that Liverpool are enjoying every opportunity of winning the Premier League this season. He also revealed that there have been no advanced talks between him and Jurgen Klopp over his long-term future at Anfield.

In case you didn't know...

Liverpool are currently at the top of the Premier League table and are on course for winning their first league title since 1990.

However, regardless of their relentlessness, they are being chased down by Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, who are just one point behind them. The Reds' form has also hit a low in the last few weeks, as they have managed to win just one of their last four league games.

On the other hand, Nathaniel Clyne struggled with injuries in the last few seasons and was loaned out by Jurgen Klopp to Bournemouth during the recently concluded January transfer window.

He has started five league games for the Cherries thus far and is likely to join the club permanently once his loan deal expires in summer.

The heart of the matter

Speaking to Sky Sports(via Mirror), Clyne revealed that Liverpool players are enjoying every opportunity of winning the Premier League this season and he also believes that the Premier League title is Liverpool's to win.

He said:

"You can see right now in the dressing room they will just be enjoying the opportunity they have. They're top of the league - it's on them really. All they need to do is do their best in their games and that will lead them over the line."

The Englishman also gave an update on his Liverpool future.

"I haven't really spoken [to Klopp] or thought about what's going to happen at the end of the season.
I'm just concentrating on playing football right now and staying match fit, and improving. I am starting to get my rhythm back and that comes with playing matches - and its part of the reason I came here."

What's next?

Liverpool will play Watford, Everton, and Burnley FC next in the league before making a trip to Germany to play Bayern Munich for the second leg of UEFA Champions League round-of-16 tie on March 14.

On the other hand, Bournemouth are currently 12th in the Premier League table and are scheduled to play Arsenal later today.
