Can Liverpool stay on the top?

Liverpool have had a brilliant start in the Premier League this season. They are on top of the table and are the only team that have not conceded even a single goal.

The Klopp effect seems to be working out after a great transfer window at Anfield. His next stop is at the King Power Stadium where he will meet Claude Puel's Leicester City.

The Champions League draw took place on Thursday and Liverpool landed in what is considered to be the "group of death". With the likes of PSG and Napoli, it will be a tough competition for Liverpool.

September is going to be a crucial month for Liverpool with matches against PSG, Napoli, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Klopp might be happy with the current form of his squad. There are no new updates from Klopp's press conference about the injury conditions of players. But the return of Joel Matip from injury gives Jurgen a position to decide, whether to play Gomez, who's in a great form or more experienced Matip.

Can Leicester score the first goal against this defence?

Goalkeeper & Defenders: Alisson, Trent, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson

There's no doubt that Alisson will be the the one between the posts. Both the fullbacks, Arnold and Robertson, are in a prominent form on the wings and they are expected to continue. Van Dijk might have Matip as his centre-back partner for this fixture as Klopp needs to start rotating players.

Midfielders: Nabi Kieta, James Milner, Jordan Henderson

From aggressive tackles to key passes in the front, Kieta has been brilliant for Liverpool. He will definitely be the top pick for Jurgen Klopp. The manager might want to experiment with his squad because of the crucial fixtures to come and might go with Jorden Henderson or Xerdhan Shaqiri in the midfield. James Milner is just exceptional at the midfield with Liverpool's high pressing play and is expected to start today.

Forwards: Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Mo Salah

It's better not to debate about the high scoring front three of Liverpool. These three just get their job done which is to score maximum goals and maintain the goal difference. Mane has scored 3 goals for the side while Salah is just a goal behind Mane. Firmino was also involved in providing assists to the wingers and will be looking to break his duck.
