Rumour: Liverpool set to make move for Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie

Yannick Bolasie

Liverpool have made an enquiry for Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie after he shined for the Eagles during their remarkable clash against the Reds in the penultimate game of the season, according to to the Daily Star.

Bolasie inspired Pulis’ side against Brendan Rodgers’ side as they came back from 3-0 down to earn a draw at Selhurst Park. The 25-year-old dented Liverpool’s title hopes with a scintillating last 25-minutes and his performance has attracted attention from Brendan Rodgers who is keen to recruit the Congo international.

Rodgers who signed a new contract with Liverpool yesterday, is a fan of the £2.5m-rated midfielder after he was interested in bringing Bolasie to Swansea during the wingers time at Plymouth.

Bolasie has just 12 months left on his contract which means this is the last time Palace can command a fee for him, unless the pacey winger signs a new deal at the club.

Palace are reportedly desperate to hold onto Bolasie this summer and are keen to offer a contract extension, despite interest from Liverpool and potential suitors in the Serie A. Fiorentina have reportedly been keen on Bolasie, who was also the subject of severe interest in January.
