Inter Milan have made an ‘attractive’ offer for Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt, the 31 year’s agent Rob Jansen has claims.
It’s a common knowledge that Inter are in the market to buy a decent replacement for Anzhi Makhachkala bound Samuel Eto’o and Kuyt is on their wishlist. The San Siro side tried to sign Kuyt last season too when former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez was in charge of the Serie A club. Speaking to Netherlands TV Channel RTV West, Jansen said:
“Inter Milan have made an attractive offer for Dirk and he has to think about it. However, the two clubs have yet to agree a deal.”
Kuyt, the workhorse of the team, had a spectacular last season where he also scored a hattrick against premier league Champions Manchester United. The Liverpool board awarded his stellar performances and the player signed an improved contract that would keep him at Anfield until 2013.
However with the arrival of Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing, Kuyt might just go down the pecking order.
