Salah dreams of winning the Premier League with Liverpool

Mohamed Salah speaks about his future

The Egyptian has been in sensational form this season with 28 goals and 9 assists in the Premier League. Naturally, he has been linked to every top club in Europe which is worrying Liverpool fans. However, the 25-year old, who scored a sensational double brace against Watford, said:

“I said since day one here that I’m happy here at Liverpool and I want to show my football here. It’s a dream to win the Premier League here after a long time, a club that hasn’t won it for a long time. It’s my dream — honestly. I want to win it with this club.”

Thus, Salah definitely appears to be keen on staying at Anfield for the long haul. Former Red, Craig Bellamy, believes the speedster will not leave this summer and explained his reason by saying:

"If I was Liverpool, I'd take [the interest in Salah] as a compliment. Why wouldn't top clubs be interested? I'd be worried if they weren't."
"But Real Madrid and Barcelona, who could be prepared to pay big money, will surely want to see another year from Salah. There are other players out there that have proved themselves over two or three years who might be closer to going to those types of clubs."
"Those types of clubs are the pinnacle of football - if they come in for you, you want to be a part of that. They are on another planet, but I don't see it happening this summer."

Bellamy does talk sense that the European heavyweights would want to see more before plunging in for Salah, who will easily cost a huge amount in the current transfer market.

Liverpool ahead of other suitors in Jorginho pursuit

SSC Napoli v Genoa CFC - Serie A
Jorginho already plays for an attacking side

The 26-year-old forms the midfield base in Maurizio Sarri's high-flying Napoli, who are looking to end their Scudetto drought this season, having last won it in 1990. While it does sound familiar to Liverpool's narrative, the latter are confident of landing the player ahead of Manchester United and Arsenal, as per The Mirror.

Jorginho has blossomed in his no.6 controller role in Italy and is touted to be the replacement for Emre Can, who is likely to depart this summer. The Brazilian-born is currently an Italy international and will suit Jurgen Klopp's style of play, as Napoli play an attacking style as well.

As per the report, Liverpool believe their current project and rising position in European football will serve them well to land Jorginho. If the Reds manage to pull off the deal, then he could prove to be an adequate replacement or an upgrade to Can, should the latter leave in the summer.

Liverpool monitoring Jack Wilshere's situation

West Ham United v Arsenal - Premier League
Wilshere will be a free agent this summer

The Arsenal academy graduate is leaning towards the exit door this summer as he is unwilling to sign the pay-as-you-play deal put forward by the club, as per The Mirror. While the 26-year old wants to stay and is expecting a better deal, the club has informed the midfielder's entourage that there will not be a new offer.

The Englishman already received offers from Everton, Juventus and AC Milan as per the report while Liverpool and Manchester City are monitoring the situation. While injuries have hampered Wilshere's rise, he has worked his way to full fitness and is having a decent season, to say the least.

Wilshere will be a free agent by the time the World Cup comes about and Liverpool can definitely make another quality squad addition should they be able to beat the competition and convince him of getting regular game-time.
