Liverpool transfer news: Salah latest, Klopp plotting Madrid blow and more - 14th April 2018

Manchester City v Liverpool - UEFA Champions League Quarter Final Second Leg
Klopp talks about Salah's future

Mohamed Salah expected to stay at Anfield next season

The Egyptian has been a revelation at Liverpool this season with his goalscoring exploits up there with club and league legends. Almost every goal he scores is breaking records and naturally, he is expected to a big move to one of the big two in Real Madrid or Barcelona. Now, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was asked regarding Salah's future in his pre-match press conference and he said:

"It's not the situation where I would even think about it. Mo Salah came in nine months ago to make the next step in his career and he did it. To come to Liverpool, he had different options and he wanted to come here, so if we always start talking after a year 'will he leave' - I don't think about it."
"I'm confident. I think, no I don't think, I know he will be here. We don't want change all the time. We have a big chance here to create something for the future. My impression at the moment is they are all excited about being in this group."

Thus, Klopp does exude confidence and this should spell good news for Liverpool fans. Either way, the Egyptian can be expected to stay put for another season at the minimum.

Liverpool looking to re-sign Suso ahead of Real Madrid

Spal v AC Milan - Serie A
Real Madrid are interested in Suso

The Spaniard was scouted by the Reds as a teenager and was on the club's books from 2010 to 2015 before joining Italian side AC Milan as he failed to make the grade at Anfield. However, the move proved to be the right one for him as he is finally realising his immense potential at San Siro. Currently, he is the chief creator in Gennaro Gattuso's side and his form is catching the attention of top European clubs.

Now, Liverpool boss, Klopp, is looking to land a blow on Real Madrid by signing the 24-year old, who is wanted by Los Blancos, as per Spanish news outlet, Don Balon. Klopp is miffed with Madrid's interest in Salah as he does not want to lose his star man.

Hence, he is looking to counter the situation by signing the talented Suso and is confident the latter has enough talent to fit into his side. The Reds are willing to pay up to €40 million for their former player and this could prove to be a major blow for Real Madrid if the Merseyside club pull it off.

Fulham keen on keeping Liverpool and United target

Fulham v Leeds United - Sky Bet Championship
Fulham want to keep their teenage superstar

The Championship side are looking to clinch promotion this season to make their way back to the Premier League for the upcoming season. Now, the Cottagers have one of the brightest English talents amongst their ranks in 17-year old Ryan Sessegnon. The teenage left-back loves to get forward and has already scored 14 goals to go along with six assists this season for the London side.

No wonder, he is wanted by several top clubs which include Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. Sessegnon's career progression looks similar to Gareth Bale's who also started out at left-back before becoming one of the world's best players at Real Madrid. Hence, Fulham have a real task on their hands to keep the teenager but they are keen on doing so if they secure promotion.

Further, Sessegnon would prefer to continue at Fulham for at least another season as he is assured of a starting spot and has been at the club since the age of eight. Also, the Cottagers value him at £50 million and the valuation will rise further if he will continue to deliver in the English top-flight.

Thus, the suitors have a bigger fight on their hands to prise away Sessegnon, especially if Fulham move to the Premier League next season.
