3. The Unknown Unknowns
The longer you try to think this through the more you’ll get confused. These are the things we don’t know we don’t know.
Very Confusing! On that note, I would like to add to it. We know that Barcelona need a center back but we don’t know who due to the nature of this year’s transfer market.
We know he should be the best but we don’t know if Barca will be willing to pay ridiculous amounts for a defender after already spending so much on Neymar.
We know that the player should buy a ‘tiki-taka’ handbook before he signs up for the Catalan adventure but we don’t know many belonging to that criteria at a reasonable price. Huff, now you know the only reason I was forced to put this topic in criteria no. 3. It’s damn Confusing!
4. Gerard Pique And Victor Valdes
Not many have criticized him enough. This guy deserves a complete hammering. He was one of the best defenders a few years back and I need not explain his current form or the way he plays. Another confusing aspect is why the Barcelona management have decided to take a gamble on Victor Valdes. The club may do wonders with a keeper having a bit orthodox touch, a keeper who has his goalkeeping skills corrected first.
5. Heavy Backpack
Now consider a backpack. Stuffed with all the little things in it. Trophies, wins, draws & the losses. Now look at the bigger things. The stats, predictions, media, press conferences, rumour’s, controversies. Now the heaviest of them all. The history, the records, the expectations, the fans, the Camp Nou, the El Clasico’s. The backpack gets heavy like hell ain’t it? Now try to walk. This is exactly the way Barcelona were trying to play this season. With all the things in the backpack on the line, they gave their all but the result was inevitable. But this is history. What now?
They say, “Moving is Living.” This great team just needs to burn this backpack keeping nothing aback. They just have to start a new season with nothing. Yes exactly, nothing. No pressure. Start fresh and glory days will soon be back.
Again I must say, “Football is a cruel and unpredictable sport”. All we can do now is “Wait and Watch”.
