Louis van Gaal or Louis BAN Gaal? The Dutchman places a ban on delivery trucks during training sessions

Louis van Gaal places another ban in the training facility

Louis van Gaal has banned delivery trucks from dropping off supplies at the Manchester United training grounds when the players are present. The 63-year old manager felt the trucks were a disturbance during the training sessions.

The Dutchman implemented his ban for a couple of reasons. Apart from the players being disturbed while being tutored on Van Gaal’s 'philosophy’, he was also worried that the drivers who came to drop the supplies off could possibly observe the tactics and formations being practiced.

To ensure that his coaching sessions are undisturbed he insists that no outsiders are let into the ground while the practice is going on, and that the delivery trucks wait till the players have left to drop off their supplies.

The United boss is known for his demand for high discipline from both the players and the staff. One of his other demand is that none of the staff are allowed to eat in the dining area while the first team players are having their food.

Manchester United are still favourites to claim a Champions League qualification spot ahead of Liverpool with 3 games to go. Van Gaal’s Red Devils face Crystal Palace away from home next weekend after suffering 3 back-to-back defeats for the first time this season.
