Luis Suarez lands in hot water again after punching a Deportivo player

thinking
Oh Luis! Why do you do this?

Luis Suarez and on-field controversy are two inseparable things and he prove that again yesterday’s during Barcelona’s 4-0 rout of Deportivo La Coruna. The Uruguayan has had several brushes with the laws of the game before and most recently he seems to have once again lost control

Barcelona were cruising to a comfortable win yesterday and in the first-half, they had a comfortable 3-0 lead. Luis Suarez also netter but somehow he escaped punishment and the attention of the referee.

Suarez was tussling with Alejandro Arribas of the opposition when the incident took place. He swung his right arm and got in a good old punch on the head that somehow did not get him sent off let alone a booking.

The ball was nowhere near the player when this happened which makes is even more befuddling.

This was when Barcelona were only ahead by a single goal in the game. In fact, after this incident, they scored another from a free-kick with Suarez netting the third just before half-time.

Luis ENroque took him off for the second half as Paco Alcacer got 45 good minutes to prove how bad a vein of form he is in by missing three sitters in front of goal. Leo Messi needed only 3 minutes to show how much the Catalans missed by getting on the scoresheet.

Barca could say were a bit fortunate with another occasion before Rafinha popped up with the second goal. Right before the free-kick was delivered, the players seemed to be in an offside position before Pique headed it on for Rafinha’s goal.

This is not the first time Suarez has been caught doing something Suarez like in La Liga. Only a few weeks back, he was involved in yet another incident with a Sporting Gijon player where he allegedly kicked defender Amorebieta in the ankle.

But it doesn;t end there! After the game against Atletico Madrid Suarez made an insulting comment that infuriated fans around the world when he told Filipe Luis off. This is what he said according to multiple sources

There seems to be no end to Suarez’s incessant acts of foolishness on the pitch and yet he continues to go unpunished. Part of the reason Enrique took off Suarez could be because of this very incident.

He might face a lengthy ban if they officials decide to act against the striker. Barcelona might have to be without him for longer than they would like and it could affect their chances in La Liga and other competitions this season
