Winning the World Cup sure must give you a high and I can only imagine the happiness and elation that the players of Germany have in lifting that prestigious trophy. With the World Cup slowly moving on and our attentions now at the leagues that are to start all over the world, Fans already have a fresh batch of excitement building up in them. But, what of the players?
While almost the entire world seems impatient for the leagues to start, there are still some who aren’t quite done with their holidays; a holiday that they well deserve. Lukas Podolski, German striker and winner of the World Cup is recharging for his next season at Arsenal, by taking a holiday, and putting up posts of himself doing…well basically, enjoying life. He may even be missing a few of Arsenal’s opening match along with his German team-mates, Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker. Besides putting up posts of him having fun, Podolski also went on Twitter to welcome Arsenal’s latest signing, Calum Chambers:
