Earlier this summer, David Bentley was released by Spurs and he is currently on the lookout for a club. Many English clubs are believed to have expressed an interest in Bentley, but the 28-year-old’s availability has also alerted several sides from abroad. Spain’s Espanyol and FC Utrecht have also shown interest in the English player.
According to Sky Sports, Malaga are in the market for a new right-sided winger following Joaquin’s departure to Fiorentina and Bentley is thought to figure on their list of targets.
David Bentley has plied his trade for Norwich City, Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United and Tottenham. He has also represented the England national team in seven matches.
