It's definitely a difficult thing to hold off this burgeoning Manchester United attack. But Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek and Pablo Fornals stepped up to the challenge and did an excellent job in the heart of midfield not letting the Pogba-Bruno partnership to flourish.

As a result, Bruno and Pogba constantly played behind the ball, with the former almost hardly ever available in that number 10 position. Ogbonna chipped in with some good blocks from defence.

Going forward, Jarrod Bowen and the in-form Michail Antonio ran the Manchester United defenders ragged and Bowen, with his ball retention skills caused way too much danger down that right flank and won several freekick in good positions as well.

West Ham needed to secure a point to safeguard their Premier League status and their players made sure they got that point.

Manchester United could have made it really easy for themselves or really hard on the last day of the season. They nearly accomplished doing the latter. After coming out swinging and looking like they'd go on to dominate the game, the Red Devils faded off and this was the case with both halves.

The high-energy style that was present up to the game against Southampton was once again missing and United often moved forward sluggishly.

It was some nimble-footed magic from both Martial and Greenwood that got them their goal with the youngster continuing to surprise us and equalling the record for the most number of goals scored by a teenager in a season alongside the likes of Wayne Rooney and George Best.

However, Manchester United couldn't get into the groove because of the defensive approach that Moyes and co. had adopted. On the weekend, however, against Leicester City there will definitely be more space for United's midfielders to operate with as the Foxes will fancy their chances against Solskjaer's men.

Manchester United also miss Luke Shaw. Not that Brandon Williams did anything wrong today but Luke Shaw is such a pivotal piece especially when United are going forward with his intelligent off the ball running.
