Manchester United v Brighton & Hove Albion - Premier League
Even though United failed to keep a clean sheet, Lindelof was once again the pick of the defenders. The Swede keeps on developing under Solskjaer and his recent form might be a reason why United have been quiet in the January transfer window.

Against Brighton, Lindelof was strong as usual, leading his defense and showing great ball playing abilities. He came close to scoring twice, heading just wide from corners on both occasions. He then almost registered an assist, when he set Martial free with a brilliant cross field ball, only for Button to come up with a great save.
However, the Swede's best moments were in his own half, where he defended like a man on a mission. He was alert on the ball and did not just win the ball back, but also tried to find his players whenever he had the ball. He combined well with Herrera and Matic to ensure that the ball kept moving around and his ball control was evident in tight spaces.
Lindelof was massive in the later stages, as United held on to earn three vital points. Solskjaer will be pretty proud of him right now.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
