Manchester United secured an important 3-0 win against Leicester City at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday, November 10. The result sees the hosts move up to 15 points from 11 games and climb to 13th place. Meanwhile, the Foxes remain 15th with 10 points from 11 games.

Manchester United made a dominant start to the contest and looked to grab the lead early on in the contest itself. Their captain helped their cause immensely and led the team from the front as Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring after 17 minutes. Amad Diallo provided an assist for the goal as the Portuguese scored with ease. Leicester's woes, however, were about to be compounded.

Having conceded a well-worked goal the first time around, Leicester fell two goals behind after 38 minutes. This time, despite Fernandes' efforts, the goal was credited to Foxes defender Victor Kristiansen after much pondering by the VAR. After keeping the ball for 58% of the time and taking a two-goal lead, Manchester United deservedly led at the break.

The second half saw Leicester try and find a way back into the game as they pushed forward and looked to keep possession of the ball for long. With 56% of the ball in the second period, the Foxes could not create much at all and managed just one shot on target in the second 45 minutes.

Both Ruud van Nistelrooy and Steve Cooper then turned to their benches to make changes, but they could not impact the proceedings until late on. United substitute Alejandro Garnacho received a pass from Fernandes, before rifling the ball into the right top corner to beat Mads Hermansen all ends up.

Despite the victory, Manchester United are yet to enter the top half of the table. On that note, let's take a look at their player ratings from this match.
