Daley Blind- Would've been terrific

Daley Blind belongs to a paltry pool of signings who proved out to be beneficial for Manchester United in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era. The Dutchman was adored by fans for his work rate and on-field genius.

Blind was well capable of playing in numerous positions, something that would've been heartily welcomed by Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.

What Blind brought to the side was his ability to pass it long, deliver crosses into the box and not to forget, save his side in the dying moments of a match with a goal out of nowhere.

Blind would've been a perfect fit to play under the Norwegian as the Manchester United Manager has clearly expressed his desire to make his side play with flair and freedom. Solksjaer is a fan of high flowing attacking football and Blind would've been an apt candidate to be a part of Ole's plans

Blind now plies his trade at Ajax and it makes us all wonder what a significant role the Dutchman would've played under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer had he still been at the club.
