If you are a Manchester United fan, you would have probably known that this point will come here somewhere. Manchester United's captain Ashley Young isn't good enough for the club and certainly not good enough to be a captain.

Young is a 33-year-old winger converted full-back who has had a torrid time this season. His commitment is not the thing in question here but his quality certainly is. Young can be a brilliant second choice full-back but for a starter, he certainly lacks the quality.

The Englishman has improved his defensive skills quite a lot but his crossing this season has horrendous, to say the least. Solskjaer needs to start looking for a new right-back this summer and he needs to sign one.

If there are two positions that Manchester United need strengthening in, it is center back and right-back.
