Manchester United fans blame Sir Alex Ferguson for team's poor form

In a poll recently conducted by Manchester United fanzine Red Issue, almost 40% of the fans have blamed Sir Alex Ferguson for the team’s poor performances under new manager David Moyes as it was Ferguson who hand-picked Moyes for the job.

On the other hand, only 17% of the voters felt it was Moyes who is to be blamed, not Sir Alex. The club’s owners, the Glazers have amassed 32.55% of the votes. The players were blamed by 4.25% of the voters.

Manchester United suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat to rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford last Sunday, and the fans are growing tired of Moyes.

According to Mirror, if the team loses to Olympiakos in their upcoming UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday, a group of supporters will rip down the banner at the Stretford End that says Moyes is the Chosen One.
