Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has revealed how he’s been spending his summer away from Manchester - marrying his glamorous partner in a stunning beach wedding.
The Denmark stopper took to Twitter to share his joy at tying the knot with Swedish model Misse Beqiri.
The couple, who have a young son together, married on the beach in Mauritius, according to the snap that Lindegaard tweeted to his 503,000 followers today.
He wrote: “Best day of our lives! Thanks to everyone there for making it so special.”
Lindegaard is the latest member of the United squad to wed. Last summer defender Jonny Evans married MUTV presenter Helen McConnell in Northern Ireland.
The centre half met his future wife shortly after she landed her dream job for the club’s official TV channel. Helen’s father Rev Kenneth McConnell married the couple at Clough Presbyterian Church in County Antrim.
