Leicester City v Manchester United - Premier League
The midfield that Solskajer selected for the game has been his favoured three and there are many reasons why. All three are very capable on the ball and can actually play in varied positions. As such, the Norwegian's midfield is very dynamic and against Leicester, the three men did the job for their manager exceedingly well.

Pogba, as usual, was the farthest forward, Herrera was on box-to-box duties and Matic was the holding player. Against Leicester, the midfield three were extremely proactive and did not just stick to their roles.
Pogba dropped deep at times, as did Herrera and Matic bombed forward. The pressing in the middle, led by a viscous Herrera, was impressive again and all three carried out their defensive duties with efficiency.
Leicester could never cope up with the dynamic nature of the three in the middle and as such, United dictated the play from the deep. When the tides changed in the dying minutes of the second half, the midfield looked quite comfortable defending their lead and denied Leicester any chances from the middle.
Solskjaer's midfield three were vital on the night and the Norwegian will be very pleased with them.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
