Liverpool begin Naby Keita talks

Jurgen Klopp has reportedly identified the Guinean as the man to fill the void created by Philippe Coutinho's departure. Keita was previously set to join the Reds in the summer but the club has initiated official talks with RB Leipzig as they look to secure Keita's services six months earlier than intended.

RB Leipzig are keen to hold onto their prized asset but due to financial regulations, the German club are ready to let Keita leave for a sum of around £17 million. The Daily Telegraph claims that a consensus may be reached in the next week or so.

Premier League giants in Christian Pulisic race

Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly engrossed in a transfer battle to secure the signing of Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic. The 19-year-old American is on the radar of both the Premier League giants with the teenager being in fine form for both club and country.

Dortmund value him at around €100 million with both clubs looking to take on board a player who is set to become one of the future trendsetters of the game.
