Crystal Palace v Manchester City - Premier League
We revealed yesterday that United were very close to securing the services of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, after submitting a substantial bid for the Englishman. United have identified the youngster as the ideal man for the right-back role at Old Trafford and had submitted an opening bid earlier last month, which was immediately turned down. Their second bid signifies Solskjaer's genuine interest in the youngster, who has developed into one of the finest right-backs in the country.
Even though the second bid was rejected, the mood around Old Trafford is positive. The club hierarchy believes that they will be able to procure the services of Wan-Bissaka next season and are determined to get their man. United will most definitely come back with a third bid which will match Palace's evaluation or at least be close to it. This definitely looks like a deal that might actually be completed soon.
