The Red Devils have been linked with a move for Lucas Hernandez. The French World Cup winner has only just signed a new contract with Atletico Madrid with a release clause of €90 million, according to Don Balon.

The report adds that the Red Devils are aware of the fact that the defender is currently negotiating a new deal with the Rojiblancos that would once again increase his release clause and take it to €150 million.

United, however, have him on the top of their priority list as Jose Mourinho is planning to fund the sale with the departure of Pogba, who is gaining interest from Barcelona.
