For starters, the contract renewal situation at United has not been ideal, with quite a few players stalling.
We revealed yesterday that Marcus Rashford had finally put pen to paper on a new four year deal.

The Guardian reports that United are still hopeful of getting De Gea to sign a new contract, even though the player and the club have still not reached an agreement yet.
The Red Devils are working very hard to convince the player to stay and are even willing to pay him a salary similar to Paul Pogba.
This means that the Spaniard could earn as much as £290,000 per week! But will it be enough to convince De Gea? Only time will tell.
