Manchester United have set aside £120 million to lure Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale this summer. However, Bale has ruled out any chances for a move to Old Trafford.

Louis Van Gaal is still optimistic of his chances as reports suggest Bale is unhappy at the Bernabeu. According to the Daily Star, Van Gaal was tempted to sign him in the winter, but prefers his chances in the summer.

The 25-year old has been in good form for Real Madrid this season, but accusations of being selfish has made him unhappy at the club.

Many of United’s key players have failed to perform this season. Stars such as Angel Di Maria and Robin Van Persie have failed to impress the United faithful.Neither of the strikers Wayne Rooney or Robin Van Persie have managed to reach double figures today.
