Manchester United players train at a car park again ahead of Liverpool clash

Jose
Mourinho has his way of training

Training in car parks seems to be becoming a thing under Jose Mourinho’s managerial reign at Manchester United. It first happened before the Northampton game when someone spotted the players doing stretches and warm ups before their league cup clash

That phenomenon has repeated itself again ahead of Arguably United’s biggest game so far this season. Paul Pogba, Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were put through their paces ahead of the big game at a car park near a hotel named the Titanic.

After the light session, the players took a stroll around the city center as a way to relax and clear their minds. This is very unusual but it if they perform the same way they did against Northampton then there won’t be anyone laughing about it after the game.

Wayne Rooney is set to start once again from the bench. The Croatia has been in poor form and has also been booed and criticized by his own fans. Just after being dropped from the United squad he was dropped from the England national team as well.

Here are some funny tweets as well:

It would the perfect way to silence his critics if plays some sort if important role today against Liverpool. Juan Mata might once again play in the number 10 role after impressing his coach so far.

It has been a weird last couple of weeks at Old Trafford as Mata is actually starting under Mourinho and one of their bug summer signings Henrikh Mkhitaryan still has only one start under his belt.

The Armenian has been nursing an injury but is available for selection in this game. It is unlikely he will feature given his unconvincing performance against Manchester City, the only game he started.

But all eyes will once again be on one player and one player only and that is Paul Pogba. The Frenchman became the most expensive player in the world after he returned to the club where he started his journey as a footballer.

Mourinho has told him ot forget about the hefty price tag that might be wearing him down and just pay his football. In the last few games, there seems to be improvement in his performances but he has requested the United faithful for time to settle into his rhythm at Old Trafford

If he puts in one big performance against Liverpool tonight then you should assume all will be forgiven. But given the way Klopp’s team been playing it will not be an easy task to contain the team with the most goals this calendar year.
