At the end of last season, almost all Manchester United fans believed that the club needed a center-back and an upgrade at right-back going into the new season. The Red Devils have completed the signing of highly rated 21-year-old right-back Wan-Bissaka and they might be looking at center-back options in the transfer market.

But if the returning Axel Tuanzebe manages to impress Solskjaer in the pre-season tour, we might see the young Englishman more and more involved next season. Last season, Tuanzebe was on loan to Aston Villa who have now been promoted and Axel was one of the best defenders for Villa last season.

While another loan spell at Villa could be on the cards, Solskjaer, for the time being, has made sure that Tuanzebe has his opportunity for Manchester United in the pre-season tour. The integration of two young and highly rated English defenders into the Manchester United back four would be very interesting to see.
