Manchester United to make a £177 million bid for Marco Asensio

Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning a blockbuster summer and has some game-changing moves up his sleeve. Don Balon understands that Manchester United are set to break the bank and also their transfer record to land Real Madrid's Marco Asensio for the next season. It is believed that the Red Devils are set to make a £177 million bid for the 21-year-old who is being projected as the future superstar of the game.

Asensio has at times revealed his frustrations over his importance in the Real Madrid side which has alerted the likes of Manchester United. Asensio has started eight league games this season, scoring four and delivering two assists.

Fernando Torres eyeing a return to the Premier League

El Nino is looking for a third stint in England before calling it a day, the Daily Mirror understands. Fernando Torres is eyeing a move away from Atletico Madrid this January with the likes of Southampton and Newcastle United interested in the former Liverpool striker.

The 33-year-old has expressed his desire to leave on loan in January in order for a regular game time. Rafa Benitez is eyeing a reunion with Torres, this time at St. James Park whereas Southampton are looking to rope in Torres to solve their goalscoring issues.

Back to Italy for the fullback?

Three-way battle for Matteo Darmian

The Manchester United full-back is in high demand if reports in Italy are to be believed. Gazzetta Dello Sport writes that Darmian is being monitored by as many as three top Serie A clubs. Juventus, Napoli, and Roma are all looking to make an official bid for the versatile fullback as soon as the January markets open up. Darmian has been a regular for the Azzurri but has not been able to crack down a starting berth for the Red Devils.

AC Milan eyeing Leander Dendoncker

In order to make matters right, AC Milan are looking to spend heavily (again...) in the winter transfer market. The good folk at Tuttosport can reveal that Milan are currently monitoring Anderlecht's Leander Dendoncker and are mulling over the idea of making an official bid in January. Dendoncker has been linked with the Rossoneri since years now with the Italian giants reportedly tracking the Belgian midfielder since 2013.

Emre Can is being monitored by some high profile clubs

Borussia Dortmund enter Emre Can race

The Daily Mirror has reported that Borussia Dortmund are the latest club to register an interest in Liverpool's Emre Can. The 23-year-old midfielder is out of contract next summer with both the parties currently at a standstill over a new deal because of the club's policy of not adding a release clause.

The youngster can hold talks with other clubs from January as Dortmund look to lure him by guaranteeing him a leader's role at the club. Juventus and Manchester City are the other clubs who are also being linked with the German international.

Jupp Heynckes won't extend his Bayern Munich contract

After a dream return to the Bavarians which catapulted them to the top of Bundesliga, rumors were circulating that the veteran manager would sign an extension in the summer. But the four-time Bayern Munich manager has termed this as an impossible task in a recent admission.

However, the manager will play a huge role in deciding who will succeed him at the hot seat in the Allianz Arena. Since Jupp Heynckes took over, Bayern Munich has not lost a single game in all competitions.

Leon Goretzka has decided to snub FC Barcelona for Liverpool

The in-demand midfielder is said to have rejected FC Barcelona in order to test himself in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp wanted Goretzka at Anfield for a long time and with the German's arrival imminent, Emre Can will now be allowed to leave in January itself.

Chelsea ready to make a move for Luke Shaw

Manchester United are keen on cutting their losses on Luke Shaw in January and have hence put the left back on sale. The Times report that United are eyeing at least £20 million for the former Southampton fullback. Chelsea are interested in taking Shaw on board as Antonio Conte is still looking for a cover for Marcos Alonso at left wing back. Along with the Blues, Fenerbahce have also expressed an interest in taking the 22-year-old on loan.

Julian Draxler is ready to fight for his place at PSG

Julian Draxler not thinking of a move to Bayern Munich

The German winger has revealed that he is committed to Paris Saint Germain at the moment and is not looking for a move away from the Parisians anytime soon. The arrival of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe had made Draxler a transfer target for a number of clubs with PSG desperate about reducing their wage bill.

Bayern Munich were linked with the former Schalke man who wanted Draxler as a direct replacement for the ageing Franck Ribery. But Draxler has rejected Bayern Munich's advances to fight for his place in the PSG starting eleven. Draxler said, "I am not thinking about leaving the club in winter or summer. I am in mid-season with PSG now and I am focused on the high aims we have."

FC Barcelona hoping to land Matthijs de Ligt

According to Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona are looking to test Ajax's resolve in their bid to hold onto one of their most valuable assets, the 18-year-old defender Matthijs de Ligt. Barcelona have long been linked with the centre back who is being seen as the long-term successor for Gerrard Pique.

The Catalans are ready to offload Thomas Vermaelen in order to adjust De Ligt in the current squad. The teenager has been crucial to Ajax's cause since emerging on the scene last season.
