Vancouver Whitecaps v D.C. United

A product of Everton youth, Wayne Rooney was a superstar at the tender age of 16. He earned himself a £30m move to Manchester United just two years after being promoted to the Everton first team.

Rooney spent 13 years at Old Trafford and became one of the top goalscorers in Premier League history by the end of it. In the summer of 2017, he made the switch to his boyhood club, Everton, on a free transfer. However, this lasted just a year before he packed his bags and set off for the United States of America to play in Washington D.C for D.C United.

He's still playing for D.C United in the States, scoring a goal here and there for the mere fun of it, and is looking as if he really enjoys his football right now. After all, he's against considerably weaker opposition than he was used to in the Premier League, so it's purely a kick-about for him at this time.
