The Englishman has been United's best performer in the new season, since making the move to Old Trafford from Crystal Palace in the summer. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has looked assured at the back and eager in the attack in this United team. And that is why his withdrawal from the England national team during the international break will have every Manchester United fans extremely concerned.

Wan-Bissaka earned his first senior England team call on the back of a stellar start to the season with Manchester United. The youngster even trained with the England squad last Monday, before he was sent back to United due to a back injury, which was confirmed via an official statement from the English FA -

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has withdrawn from the England squad. The Manchester United right-back has returned to his club due to a back issue. With Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kieran Trippier already included in Gareth Southgate’s now 24-man squad, no replacements are planned.

The Englishman is a doubt for the Leicester City game, which could turn out to be a big problem for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Replacing him in the United team will be far from easy.

#1 Anthony Martial

Martial has scored two goals from three games so far.

The Frenchman enjoyed a brilliant start to the season, scoring in the opening game against Chelsea and looking good as the central striker. Anthony Martial was on the score-sheet again in the following game, away to Wolves, which United drew 1-1.

Against Crystal Palace though, Martial failed to score, but did pick up an assist. However, the Frenchman picked up a thigh injury in the game and was ruled out of the Southampton game. United looked a bit blunt in attack without him and the International Break arrived at the right time for Martial, who is fighting to be fit for the Leicester City game.

There are unconfirmed reports that the Frenchman could be back for the weekend’s game, but there has not been any official update from the club yet. Martial had shifted to the No. 9 shirt after the departure of Romelu Lukaku in the summer and there were traces of his brilliant debut season in his game this term. Manchester United will be hoping that they can get their mercurial Frenchman fit in time to face Leicester City as he is an instrumental part of the team right now.
