Martial has scored two goals from three games so far.
The Frenchman enjoyed a brilliant start to the season, scoring in the opening game against Chelsea and looking good as the central striker. Anthony Martial was on the score-sheet again in the following game, away to Wolves, which United drew 1-1.

Against Crystal Palace though, Martial failed to score, but did pick up an assist. However, the Frenchman picked up a thigh injury in the game and was ruled out of the Southampton game. United looked a bit blunt in attack without him and the International Break arrived at the right time for Martial, who is fighting to be fit for the Leicester City game.
There are unconfirmed reports that the Frenchman could be back for the weekend’s game, but there has not been any official update from the club yet. Anthony Martial had shifted to the No. 9 shirt after the departure of Romelu Lukaku in the summer and there were traces of his brilliant debut season in his game this term. Manchester United will be hoping that they can get their mercurial Frenchman fit in time to face Leicester City.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
