It has been a mixed season so far for Isco

Jose Mourinho wants Isco

According to Don Balon, Jose Mourinho has instructed Ed Woodward and Co. to make a move for Isco in the summer. The creative midfielder is linked with a move to the Premier League for the next season after failing to play regularly for Real Madrid.

Manchester City were the front-runners for the Spaniard until now with Pep Guardiola wanting Isco likely to be the long-term heir to David Silva.

But United have now been instructed by Mourinho to make a dash for the playmaker. After beating the neighbours to the signing of Alexis Sanchez, United are now looking to go 2-0 up over City in the transfer market.

Samuel Umtiti on Chelsea's radar

Chelsea are in the market for a centre-back and have identified Samuel Umtiti to be the long-term defensive mainstay at Stamford Bridge. Don Balon reports that Chelsea are ready to triple Umtiti's wages if he decides to join them in the summer.

Umtiti currently earns €3 million per year at FC Barcelona and has a contract until 2021. The French defender also reportedly has a €60 million clause which the Blues may be looking to activate.

The Spaniard has failed to break into the United starting lineup this season with Mourinho preferring Nemanja Matic to partner Paul Pogba.

But despite receiving a brilliant offer, United may have to reject Milan's advances for Herrera with the Red Devils already likely to lose two midfielders (Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini) in the summer.

Liverpool eyeing Leon Bailey

Jurgen Klopp has now turned his attention towards Leon Bailey of Bayer Leverkusen after reportedly ending the chase for Thomas Lemar. Liverpool are reluctant to pay a high price for Lemar who is also a transfer target for FC Barcelona.

Arsenal and Liverpool to go head-to-head for Jack Butland

Both Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly in the market for a goalkeeper in the summer. The Reds have dallied between Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius this season whereas Arsenal's Petr Cech has suffered a drop in form.

The Sun reports that Jack Butland of Stoke City tops the list for the Premier League giants with Liverpool ready to match the £40 million valuation of the 24-year-old. Arsenal are ready to match the offer for a custodian who has enough Premier League experience under his belt and is tipped to be England's No. 1 in the coming years.

Jose Mourinho rules out David De Gea sale

David De Gea has a Manchester United contract until 2019 with an option to extend it by a year. He has emerged as a top target for Real Madrid in the summer with the European champions looking for an upgrade in the goalkeeping department. But Jose Mourinho has revealed that United have no intention of selling one of their best players.

Talking to the press, Mourinho said, "Do you think a club that is trying to attract the best players is the club that is open to sell the best players? It makes no sense. If you want to go to that level, we have to attract the best players like we did with Alexis Sanchez, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba and so on, and don't let our best players go."
