Kartik

As another season of the Barclays Premier League draws to a close, it has not been a season to remember for the Red Devils. But even during this period of darkness, there have been some young talents who rose to the occasion to make the fans believe that the good times aren't far away.So let us take a look at the top three young talents of Manchester United.

#3 James Wilson

The 18-year-old made his fairy tale debut against Hull City, scoring a brace and giving the fans hope that the good times are about to shower on United once more.

Standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, James Wilson has got all the abilities of a deadly striker. His devastating speed and poacher instincts surely are enough to give any defence nightmares. He has been scoring for fun this season with 7 strikes from 9 matches in the U-21 Premier League. He also has ability to score from outside the box and play as a winger.

He is constantly prone towards injuries with one coming recently in United's U-21 match against Liverpool, making them his biggest weakness.

But with Hernandez off his form and Rooney playing more through the middle, he could provide an ideal replacement for Robin Van Persie when the need arises next season.

#2 Nick Powell

Barely 19 years of age, Nick Powell might be one of the brightest future prospects for Manchester United.

He joined the club from Crewe Alexandra in July 2012 and since then he has made only 2 appearances for the Red Devils before moving out on loan to Wigan in September 2013. This season, he has scored 12 goals for the Latics.

He has excellent passing ability and good vision and strength on the ball; making him an ideal midfielder. He is calm and creative on the pitch, just what Manchester United midfield is lacking. His biggest weakness is his lack of Premier League experience.

So expect this bright lad to pop into the starting XI couple of times next season.

#1 Adnan Januzaj

One of the few good things that took place during Moyes's tenure was the rise of the Belgian star Adnan Januzaj.

Sharing his birthday with stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, throughout the season he has impressed the fans and the pundits with his pace and technical ability over the ball. Januzaj made his competitive debut for the Red Devils against Wigan on 11 August 2013 in the Community Shield.

He came into limelight when his two goals helped United secure a 2-1 victory over Sunderland. Till now he has scored 4 goals and provided 3 assists in the Premier League, possibly solving United's problem of looking for a quality winger.

His lean figure is his only possible weakness considering the physicality of the Premier league .

With the amount of talent he has got, expect him to break into the starting XI more frequently next season.
