The Red Devils have been linked with a host of players all over Europe, with rumours of a major summer overhaul circling the club. A number of players look set to be shown the exit while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also made plans to sign new players.
On that note, let's have a look at the top stories featuring Manchester United in the rumour mill today.
Manchester United urged to sell Paul Pogba to Real Madrid
Former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson has urged Manchester United to part ways with star midfielder Paul Pogba by selling him to Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old has had a turbulent season with the Red Devils, churning out intermittent performances and falling out with the Old Trafford supporters. He has also made no secret of his love for donning the famous Los Blancos white shirt under Zinedine Zidane.
Speaking to ESPN FC on the subject, Robson said,
“It would be perfect all round. It would be perfect for Paul Pogba, I think it would be perfect for Real Madrid."
“And at Manchester United we haven’t seen the best of him. There’s something not quite right at Manchester United with him."
“I saw him at Juventus for years where he was absolutely outstanding. There wasn’t one thing he couldn’t do in that midfield position."
“Whether it be attacking, whether it be defending, heading the ball. He hasn’t done that at Manchester United and there must be a reason why. You can’t quite put your finger on it. But I think it would be a great move for all three.”
