It's no secret that Manchester United are hoping to land Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino after the season ends. On his part, Pochettino, too, has wasted no time in showing how serious he is about joining the Red Devils.

According to reports, the Argentinian tactician has already made his wishes about signing James Maddison known to Ed Woodward. The 22-year-old is valued at £70m by the Foxes - a figure United will be required to meet if they plan on signing him.

Apparently, the Red Devils have also started talks with the player's agent and hope that landing him will make it easier for them to rope in Pochettino as United boss next season.

Functioning as a playmaker, James Maddison has bagged 5 goals and 3 assists in 19 games for Leicester City.
