Simeone leaves the door open for Griezmann

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has confirmed that he would not do anything to prevent Antoine Griezmann from joining a new club in January or next summer.

Simeone feels Griezmann has done all he could have for the club and now it is up to the club to honour the player's wish of playing for another club.

In a recent interview with L'equipe, Atletico manager said, "If a player comes to me and says, ‘Coach, I have a once in a lifetime chance to play for a certain team, I want to leave’...If he did all he could for me as Griezmann does, I’ll say it’s no problem.

"I know that he needs to grow. Of course Griezmann will be able to leave at some point, the same way [Diego] Costa and Arda Turan were allowed to leave."

Griezmann has been linked with a move to Barcelona and Manchester United in recent weeks and according to Don Balon, there is a huge chance for the Frenchman to quit Atletico as soon as in the January transfer window.

Wenger confirms United target is staying at Arsenal

No way out for Ozil from Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Mesut Ozil will reject all the offers and will stay at the club. The news has come as a big blow to Jose Mourinho's transfer plans who was eyeing a move for the German playmaker in January.

Commenting on Ozil's reported move to United, Wenger said, "We have never been approached by Man United in any way, so I don't see why that came up and who found that, that's always something that's been created.

When asked to reveal new details on Ozil's contract extension, Wenger said, "I don't know how close but he will stay here until the end of the season for sure. The rest is open."

Following Wenger's outright rejection of United's reported move for Ozil, Mourinho might want to go back to the likes of Ivan Perisic, Gareth Bale, or Antoine Griezmann if he wished to strengthen his side and hope to catch Manchester City in this season's Premier League title race.

Barcelona eyeing a move for Blind

Manchester United v Southampton - Premier League
Blind is currently the 4th choice left-back for Man United

Manchester United's out-of-favour defender Daley Blind is on a shock transfer list for Barcelona in the upcoming January transfer window, reports Don Balon.

Barcelona are struggling with injuries to their key defenders and are eying an intelligent player who can read the game and control their tempo from the back.

Blind has been frozen out at Man United as he is currently the fourth choice left-back for Mourinho and is most likely to be sold in January along with Matteo Darmian.

If Barcelona do make a sizable offer, United will happily let the Dutchman go and sign a player who is more likely to play in the remaining months of the season.
