#3 City and United battling for Griezmann
For a long time in the transfer rumour mill, Marco Asensio has been linked with a move out of Madrid – and, more specifically, to the Premier League. Don Balon continue those links as they believe that Asensio is wanted by Manchester City.
They, however, also add that the Etihad outfit isn’t the only one connected to him as Chelsea, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have been credited with an interest for the player who will leave should Neymar join.
Meanwhile, Antoine Griezmann to Barcelona was all done and dusted until that changed today. According to Diario Gol, both Manchester City and Manchester United are interested in the Frenchman, but he might prefer to live in Spain rather than move abroad to England.
