Solskjaer is interested in James Maddison
The Metro reports that Solskjaer is ready to spend big on two Premier League stars this summer. The Norwegian has set his eyes on Leicester City duo James Maddison and Harry Maguire, but both of them are valued very highly by the Foxes. While Maddison has a price tag of £60m, Maguire could cost United as high as £90m, which has caused the Red Devils quite a bit of worry.

However, United are willing to match Leicester City's evaluation if needed, as they look to turn their fortunes around next season under Solskjaer. Both Maddison and Maguire are said to be keen to stay at Leicester City, but United could convince the duo to be a part of an exciting new chapter at Old Trafford. Both players are proven in the league, with Maddison pipped to become a huge star for both club and country in the next few years.
Solskjaer is keen to add at least four more new faces before the star of July, after already securing his first signing of the season, Daniel James. But only time will tell if his pursuit of these two targets will be fruitful.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.

Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
