Mourinho wants Zivkovic

Jose Mourinho has ordered his scouts to keep a close eye on Benfica's highly rated winger Andrija Zivkovic, according to reports from O Jogo.

The 21-year-old star is regarded as the best players to have come from Portugal and Manchester United have already made their move.

O Jogo claims, Javier Ribalta (former Juventus head scout) has been asked to oversee the transfer and evaluate if the player is good enough to play for Mourinho.

Earlier in the week, Mourinho proudly claimed that Portugal is his backyard and he is aware of every good player coming through the ranks, which convinced him to sign Victor Lindelof without even seeing him play once.

Man United are still struggling to sort out their winger issues after failing to sign Ivan Perisic and Gareth Bale this summer. Only time will tell if Zivkovic is the next player to join Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Morata turned down United because of Conte

New Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata claimed that a conversation with Antonio Conte changed his mind into joining the Blues ahead of Manchester United, who also wanted to sign the Spaniard this summer.

Speaking with Daily Mail, Morata said, "I had various offers this summer, not only Chelsea and Manchester United but also from different leagues. It was a good situation for me.

"The most important and best conversation I had was with Conte, he wanted me to come here. I felt in debt to him. He signed me for Juventus but left very quickly to manage Italy. I always wanted to play for him after that.

Saha suggests Mourinho should sign Aubameyang

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has suggested Jose Mourinho to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang next season to complete United's attacking prowess.

Mourinho still wants to spend over £200million next season and has targeted Antoine Griezmann and Gareth Bale to strengthen his team's forward line, however, Saha thinks Aubameyang could give United a more direct approach going forward.

Speaking with Daily Mirror, Saha said, “He’s very quick and he’s got the eye for the ball all the time. He’s really impressed me in the last few years. And he’s still a player you feel is still stepping up. He really wants to improve. I think he would be a good addition.”

Aubameyang scored 40 goals in 45 appearances last season and has constantly been linked with a move away from Dortmund with Real Madrid interested in signing him.
