Ozil is very close to Juventus star Sami Khedira

Juventus enter Ozil chase

Juventus are trying to sign Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozil and are set to outbid Manchester United for his signature, according to Daily Mirror.

Although Jose Mourinho is confident of getting Ozil for anything between £30-35million, Juventus feel Ozil is ready to quit the Premier League in January.

According to reports, Ozil wants to play in a new country after his experiences in Germany, Spain, and England. The report also suggests that Ozil's close friendship with Sami Khedira will give Juventus a boost in the potential transfer.

Meanwhile, Mourinho is relying on his relationship with the German star from their time at Real Madrid and believes the player will choose Man United over any other club.

Ozil has refused to sign any contract extension with the Gunners and is eager to quit The Emirates. Arsenal know that if they do not sell Ozil in January he will leave for free next summer which has put both United and Juventus on high alert for Ozil's signature.

David Luiz available on loan

Conte wants Luiz gone in January

Despite all his recent spat against the Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, Jose Mourinho is hopeful of agreeing a loan deal for David Luiz, according to Sunday Express.

Mourinho is still not entirely happy with his central defensive options following a long-term injury to Eric Bailly. United are relying on Chris Smalling and Phil Jones to play almost every game with Marcos Rojo still lacking match fitness.

The lack of options has forced Mourinho's into looking for another defender with Luiz emerging as a realistic target. Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has axed Luiz from his starting Premier League XI and wants to sell the Brazilian in January.

United for their part are not willing to buy Luiz in January and are eyeing an initial loan deal and then sign him on a permanent basis next summer.

Given the recent heated exchange between Mourinho and Conte it would be interesting to see if the two clubs can agree to any sort of deal for Luiz or any other player.

Lucas only wants United move

Lucas rejected Man United transfer back in 2013

PSG winger Lucas Moura only wants a move to Manchester United if the Ligue 1 side decides to sell him in January, reports The Sun.

Lucas is a man in demand with the Ligue 1 sides Bordeaux, FC Nantes and Nice along with La Liga outfit Real Betis being the interested sides in signing the Brazilian winger.

However, The Sun understands that Lucas is not ready to leave Parc des Princes unless the offer has come from Man United.

The Brazilian was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford back in 2013 but he opted to sign for PSG instead.

Since his transfer, Lucas has failed to realise his potential and is contemplating an exit in January. PSG are keen to send him away on loan and want an assured €40mllion obligation to buy in the summer.
