#2 Manchester United eyeing Mata-Coutinho swap deal
Manchester United have enough on their plate when it comes to holding on to their players. They are yet to sort out the futures of many, with Juan Mata being high up on that list.
According to reports from Spanish outlet SPORT, a Mata-Coutinho swap deal could be on the cards this summer. Coutinho has already fallen down the pecking order at Nou Camp and Valverde is looking to cash in on the club's record signing.
Mata has yet to put pen to paper to an extension at Old Trafford, which is why the Spaniard has been linked with a move to Barcelona, with his Brazilian counterpart touted to go the other way.
It remains to be seen if Manchester United succeed in landing Coutinho, who has a history with their bitter rivals Liverpool.
