In recent years, when the two teams have played each other, the stakes have not been high and the teams are usually separated by a lot of points. Not this time.

The league title is almost sealed, but the race to see which team finishes second, third and fourth is still wide open. As things stand, four points separate second-placed Manchester United (62 points) and fourth-placed Spurs (58 points) with Liverpool sandwiched in between (60 points).

Fifth-placed Chelsea only have 53 points at the moment, but there is no room for a mistake for Liverpool or Manchester United. In addition, both managers will want their team to finish above their arch-rival even though the league title is out of reach.
