Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United - Premier League
We continue with another news of a center back linked to Manchester United. The Red Devils had been interested in West Ham United's center back Issa Diop and there were even reports that United had offered a bid of £40m plus player for the Frenchman. However, the Hammers were quick to reject that bid, as they were looking to hold on to the 22-year-old.

The Metro now reports that Diop is interested in a move to Old Trafford. This should be great news for the Red Devils, who can now return with an improved deal to convince The Hammers.
The Frenchman started 33 games in the Premier League last season and even scored 1 goal. He averaged 2.1 tackles, 1.9 interceptions and just 0.5 fouls per game. At 194cms, he has the commanding presence that could help Solskjaer solve his defensive problems, so if United to manage to get this over the line, it will be a fine bit of business.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.

Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
