4. Sarah Stone
Sarah Stone is a Manchester lass who has always been a huge fan of United, regularly attending as many matches as she could from as young as 5. Her passion for football lead her to work alongside the press officer at Boston United FC in the 2008-2009 football season, prior to moving back to Manchester and landing her role with MUTV. Whilst in Boston, Sarah won Miss Peterborough 2010 and competed in Miss England 2010. Stone, 26, has also presented La Liga, Serie A and Champions League matches to the Middle East and worldwide on Al Jazeera Sports. She can also be seen taking the audience’s questions on MUTV’s Live at The Red Café. Sarah Stone is the second Manchester-born Miss England contestant to feature in this list and a ‘stone’ waller to finish fourth.

Gemma Merna aka Carmel McQueen from Hollyoaks, was born in Cleethorpes but moved to Didsbury, Manchester when she was just 1 year old. On Sky Sports, Gemma Merna first revealed that she was a supporter of Manchester United when she appeared as one of Soccer A.M’s ‘Soccerettes’, sporting a Manchester United jersey. In her career as an actress, she has won Best Comedy Performance in the 2007 British Soap Awards, and in the same year’s National Television Awards, she was nominated for Best Female Soap Actress.
