Milan, Feb 3 (IANS) Inter Milan head coach Walter Mazzarri criticised his side for being “sluggish and lazy” in their 1-3 loss to Juventus in a Italian Serie A match.

Stephan Lichtsteiner, Giorgio Chiellini and Arturo Vidal scored to move Juventus three goals ahead before Rolando netted a consolation goal for the visitors Sunday, reports Xinhua.

Mazzarri, who had been complaining about bad luck for his side, found the had nothing to do with luck instead of players’ determination and aggression.

“I was irritated at the way we conceded the second goal, as we were too sluggish. Juventus were quicker to the ball, more aggressive and that made the difference,” the 52-year-old coach said.

“We need to be focused on every little detail with great determination, the way Juventus did. Juve were more determined and aggressive, whereas we were sluggish and lazy,” he said.

He also rued the wasted chances to score.

“We created chances and let’s not forget Rodrigo Palacio twice could’ve made it 3-2 to end with a siege on their goal,” he added.
