Messi will turn 32 this June and it is hardly surprising that Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu has already started the planning of life after Lionel Messi. In a recent interview with BBC Radio 5 Live Football Daily, he said:
"I know one day Lionel will say he's retiring. We have to prepare the club for the future.
"We are bringing great young players to the team because we need to continue this era of success. That's our responsibility."

However, he also elaborated that:
"Messi is Messi and isn't who he is only because of genetics. He is a product of his environment, of growing up in La Masia, of the hormonal treatment he received...
"What genetics does is to give a potential, as was the case with Messi but whether that is fulfilled or not comes down to the circumstances and what happens around us."
What’s next?
Though science has come a long way since the creation of life on Earth, creating another Messi with all the attributes he possesses is almost next to impossible.
