Millwall embarrassed after kit man forgets away strip

Millwall started off their Npower Championship campaign on an embarrassing note after they forgot to bring their kit with them for the game against Sheffield Wednesday.

However, the team earned a valuable point with a late penalty equalizer from Andy Keogh. Millwall took the lead five minutes into the game with an own goal from Kamil Zayatte which was cancelled out two minutes later by Reda Johnson.

Sheffield Wednesday then took the lead through Jeremy Helan and held onto the lead till Richard Chaplow was fouled inside the penalty box.

The match saw many controversial decisions from the referee Stuart Atwell, which included a disallowed goal for Sheffield Wednesday.

Millwall played the first half with the away kit of Sheffield Wednesday but were back in their regulation kit for the second half of the game.
