All is not well for East Bengal. After suffering two losses on the trot in the I-League, their coach Trevor James Morgan has been admitted to a hospital. Morgan was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata due to problems in his nervous system. On Friday evening, Morgan had undergone a surgery on the fingers of both his hands.

Due to problems in his nerves, he was unable to fold his fingers and was also suffering from pain every now and then for the past few days. The pain became severe on Thursday evening and thus he was admitted to the hospital. Morgan will be released from the hospital on Saturday and from there, he will be headed straight to the East Bengal tent.

He will be present in the practice session this afternoon and will be leaving for the Kalyani Stadium with his team. On Sunday, East Bengal play Pailan Arrows. This match will be the 350th I-League match for East Bengal, which is a record in Indian football. The British think tank of East Bengal is a bit worried about the defensive line of his team against Arrows.

Uga Okpara is suspended due to his post match scuffle with Bello Rassaq. Gurwinder has fever whereas Arnab Mondal and Soumik Dey are suffering with injuries. Due to the absence of key players, the East Bengal defense might provide the opening required for Arrows. To make up for the defense, East Bengal will bank on their strikers and will look to attack right from onset.
