Nani looks to secure his future at Manchester United.

There has been a lot of speculation in the media over Nani‘s future at Manchester United. With the poor showing at Everton, where the Nani had one of the worst nights in a Red shirt, media were speculating that Nani might be sold by the Premier League giants. With Nani’s contract talks stalled over wage demands, it seemed that Manchester United might be willing to listen to big money offers for the Portuguese.

Yesterday, the Sun reported that after the poor showing at Everton, Nani had significantly climbed down from his original wage demands. While they were asking for £130,000 per week when the contract talks began, they are now willing to stick to the basic of £90,000 per week with £30,000 as bonuses per appearance. Nani looks to secure his future at one of the top clubs in the world, already having expressed his desire to stay at Manchester United.

United values the 25 year old at £25 million. Offers more than the value might be tempting for the club, if Nani’s form continues to flutter. It seems highly unlikely that Nani would be moving away from Manchester in this season.
