The players of the Netherlands national team will win a trip to space if they manage to win the 2014 Brazil FIFA World Cup, reports Dutch football website VoetbalZone.
Aerospace company SXC will be supervising the trip, and apparently Robin van Persie’s goal header against Spain was what inspired the proposal.
The goal that inspired the idea
"As a company of Dutch origin, we are very proud of Netherlands’ achievements currently in Brazil, and we are going to try the to take the players literally to a higher level.. 103 km higher. The whole selection of 23 players and of course, Louis van Gaal," announced a spokesperson for the company.
